Muzeum w Gliwicach realizuje projekt przebudowy i rozbudowy kompleksu urbanistycznego Radiostacji w Gliwicach, w efekcie którego ma powstać nowoczesny, przystosowany dla potrzeb osób niepełnosprawnych, kompleks muzealno-edukacyjno-badawczy. Działania prowadzone w kompleksie będą zogniskowane na wydarzeniach, które rozegrały się tu w sierpniu 1939 r. (tzw. prowokacja gliwicka), ale też ukazaniu ich kontekstu historycznego i wielokulturowości Górnego Śląska. Muzeum poszukuje partnerów zagranicznych do realizacji wyżej wymienionego projektu.

Prowokacja Gliwicka jest symbolem tego, do czego prowadzi brak dialogu, wzajemnego poznania i zrozumienia oraz symbolem zakłamania i dezinformacji. Rozbudowa infrastruktury gliwickiej Radiostacji realizowana w ramach projektu otworzy możliwość prowadzenia działań w kraju i poza jego granicami, stąd chcielibyśmy zaprosić Państwa do partnerstwa w tych działaniach, których głównym elementem byłaby szeroko pojęta działalność edukacyjna w Polce i na arenie międzynarodowej. Poszukujemy partnera zagranicznego w celu wspólnego opracowania, sfinansowania i realizacji programu tych działań, zogniskowanego również na kwestiach tożsamościowych i kulturowych, z wykorzystaniem nowoczesnych środków przekazu, zgodnego z profilem i założeniami merytorycznymi i programowymi oddziału Muzeum. Mogłyby one obejmować np. cykl wykładów, lekcji, konferencji, publikacji i wystaw. Naszym zamiarem jest, aby miejsce dramatycznych wydarzeń, w którym rozpoczęła się II wojna światowa i gdzie w imię politycznych celów zamordowano człowieka ze względu na jego narodowość, stało się centrum wymiany poglądów i dyskusji na temat trudnej przeszłości, tożsamości, wzajemnego poznania i poszukiwania wspólnych elementów tradycji, kultury etc.

Das Museum in Gliwice leitet ein Projekt für den Umbau und Erweiterung des Komplexes des Rundfunksenders in Gliwice das zur Schaffung eines modernen, behindertengerechten Museums-, Bildungs- und Forschungskomplexes führen soll. Die in dem Komplex durchgeführten Aktivitäten werden sich auf die Ereignisse konzentrieren, die sich hier im August 1939 abgespielt haben (die sogenannte Gleiwitzer Provokation), aber auch auf dem historischen Kontext und dem multikulturellen Charakter von Oberschlesien. Das Museum ist auf der Suche nach ausländischen Partnern, um das oben genannte Projekt zu realisieren.

Die Gleiwitzer Provokation ist ein Zeichen dafür, wozu ein Mangel an Dialog, gegenseitiges Kenntnis und Verständnis führt, sowie ein Symbol für Verlogenheit und Desinformation. Die Entwicklung der Infrastruktur des Rundfunksenders Gliwice, die im Rahmen des Projekts durchgeführt wird, wird die Möglichkeit eröffnen, Aktivitäten im In- und Ausland durchzuführen. Wir möchten Sie einladen, sich an diesen Aktivitäten zu beteiligen, und in einer breit angelegten Bildungsarbeit in Polen und auf internationaler Ebene teilzunehmen. Wir suchen einen ausländischen Partner, um gemeinsam ein Programm dieser Aktivitäten zu entwickeln, zu finanzieren und umzusetzen, das sich auf Fragen der Identität und der Kultur konzentriert, unter Einsatz moderner Medien, in Übereinstimmung mit dem Profil und den inhaltlichen und programmatischen Voraussetzungen der Museumsabteilung. Dies könnte z.B. eine Reihe von Vorträgen, Unterrichten, Konferenzen, Publikationen und Ausstellungen umfassen. Der Ort dramatischer Ereignisse, an dem symbolisch der Zweite Weltkrieg begann und an dem im Namen politischer Ziele Menschen aufgrund ihrer Nationalität ermordet wurden, soll zu einem Zentrum des Meinungsaustausches und der Diskussion über die schwierige Vergangenheit, die Identität, das gegenseitige Kennenlernen und die Suche nach gemeinsamen Elementen der Tradition, Kultur usw. werden.

The Museum in Gliwice is implementing a project for the reconstruction and extension of the urban complex of the radio station in Gliwice, which is to result in the creation of a modern museum, educational and research complex, adapted to the needs of disabled persons. Activities carried out in the complex will focus on the events that took place here in August 1939 (the so-called Gliwice provocation), but also on showing their historical context and the multicultural character of Upper Silesia. The Museum is looking for foreign partners to realise the aforementioned project.

The Gliwice provocation is a symbol of what a lack of dialogue, mutual knowledge and understanding leads to, as well as a symbol of hypocrisy and disinformation. The development of the infrastructure of the Gliwice radio station carried out within the project will open up possibilities of cooperation nationally and abroad, hence we would like to invite you to a partnership, the main element of which would be broad educational activities in Poland and internationally. We are looking for a foreign partner in order to jointly develop, finance and implement a programme of these activities, focused also on questions of identity and culture, with use of modern media, in accordance with the profile and substantive and programme objectives of the Museum's branch. This could include, for example, a series of lectures, lessons, conferences, publications and exhibitions. It is our intention that the place of dramatic events, where the Second World War began and where, in the name of political aims, a man was murdered because of his nationality, should become a centre for the exchange of views and discussions on the difficult past, identity, mutual knowledge and the search for common elements of tradition, culture, etc.
